In 7 years we pulled the government out of Delhi's closed rooms: PM Modi
Uttar Pradesh : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a program in Mahoba of Bundelkhand today. Before the assembly elections to be held next year in Uttar Pradesh, PM Narendra Modi is on a frequent tour to inaugurate the schemes and lay the foundation stone. On Friday, on the occasion of Rani Laxmibai's birthday, she gave a big gift to the farmers of Bundelkhand by dedicating the Arjun Sahayak Project. Addressing the program, PM Modi said that today is the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who had awakened a new consciousness in India during that era of slavery. I also extend the best wishes of Guru Parab to the people of the country and the world. Today is also the birth anniversary of the brave daughter of India, the pride of Bundelkhand, the heroine Rani Laxmibai.
PM Modi said that in the last 7 years, how we have brought the government out of the closed rooms of Delhi to every nook and corner of the country, Mahoba is a witness to this. This land has been a witness to such schemes, such decisions which have made big changes in the lives of poor mothers and sisters of the country. Some time ago, the second phase of Ujjwala Yojana was started from here.
A few years ago, I had promised the Muslim sisters of the country from Mahoba that I would free them from the practice of triple talaq. This promise has also been fulfilled. Those who ruled for a long time in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh left no stone unturned to destroy Bundelkhand in turn. How the forests, resources here were handed over to the mafia, it is not hidden from anyone.
Now bulldozers are running on these mafia, so some people are creating hue and cry. No matter how much trouble these people create, the work of development of UP, development of Bundelkhand is not going to stop.
On the issue of farmers, PM Modi said that "Keeping farmers involved in problems has always been the basis of some political parties. They do politics of problems and we do the national policy of solution. The solution of Ken-Betwa link is also our government." For decades, people of Bundelkhand have seen robbing governments, for the first time people of Bundelkhand are seeing a government working for its development."
Targeting the former governments of the state, PM Modi said, "No one can forget this bitter truth that they did not get tired of looting Uttar Pradesh and we do not get tired of working. The governments of the familyists have ruled UP for decades. Most of the villages of the state have been kept thirsty. The governments of the familyists wanted to keep the farmers only in want. They used to make announcements in the name of farmers, but even the pie did not reach the farmer. Whereas till now we have 1 lakh 62 from PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Thousands of crores have been sent directly to the bank accounts of farmers.
Our government has taken steps in the interest of farmers at every level from seed to market. More than 1,600 good quality seeds have been produced in the last 7 years. Many of these seeds give more yield in less water.
On the question of unemployment in Bundelkhand, PM Modi said that we are committed to make this region self-reliant in employment to prevent migration from Bundelkhand. Bundelkhand Expressway and UP Defense Corridor are also a great proof of this.
